Haishokuhin
Ornaments hung from the waist. Also hakikazari. A Nara period fashion originating in China, haishoku were small objects, both decorative and practical, that had cords or braids for attaching them to a waist sash. Such ornaments included small knives, rulers, fish-shaped stones, crystals and pouches.
