裛衣香(えびこう)ebikō
「えいこう」ともいう。衣服にたきしめる香で、各種の香料を調合したもの。正倉院には、神護景雲二年（七六八）の年紀がある香袋に入り、白檀(びゃくだん)、沈香(じんこう)、麝香(じゃこう)などを合わせた裛衣香(えびこう)（中倉八〇）がある。

Incense bundles
Various aromatic woods and plants were combined and bundled together. The woods were often pulverized. The bundles were used to scent clothing, to fumigate garments, and as insect repellants placed in boxes.
