献物箱(けんもつばこ)kenmotsu bako
仏に献納する品を収めた箱。正倉院宝物の献物箱は貴重な木材を用い、撥鏤(ばちる)や木画(もくが)、彩絵などの技法によって美しく装飾されたものが多い。
