想像上の動物。体は鹿、蹄は馬、尾は牛に似て、頭上に角が一本あり、全身は黄色、腹部の毛は五色という。

Kylin (Ch. qilin). A mythical single-horned animal with auspicious associations. A kirin has the body of a deer, the tail of a cow, and the hooves of a horse.
